Markets and musicians When the city gates open early in the morning, all kinds of people enter the city. Farmers bring their harvest, dairy and eggs to the market; charlatans bring their panacea; a procession of hawkers, musicians, load carriers, pranksters, and goose herders enter the city. Everyone tries to get a piece of pie.
