Archeon 30 years!

Nature’s treasures The beekeeper is one of the poorest city dwellers and his dark house is one of the oldest; it dates back to the eleventh century. It has a small space where you can store animals at night. However, the beekeeper does not keep his most important animals here, but outside in the apiary, where every year a growing number of baskets promise a good harvest. The beekeepers braids the baskets out of rye straw. The bee population that he inserts in the baskets know exactly how to set up their hive; within a short period of time the basket is filled with beautiful honeycomb slats. Honey is an important sweetener that the beekeeper can easily sell. He also makes luxurious beeswax candles that are used in the church and by more prosperous people in their homes. We can help him out by making a small candle ourselves. The beeswax is also used by the barber-surgeon as an ingredient for ointments. And from time to time the beekeeper supplies the city council; they use the wax to cast stamps on official documents in order to ratify.
